The purpose of this chapter is to identify and explain the key Industry 4.0 technologies that are changing warehouse operations. There are nine key technologies which will be explored in this chapter
CHAPTER 6: Safety Principles
The purpose of this chapter is to provide an overview of the most common safety features and practices used in material handling operations. This chapter will explain safety practices and procedures used in modern logistics facilities.
CHAPTER 7: Safe Material Handling & Equipment Operation
The purpose of this chapter is to explain logistics safety, going deeper into material from chapter 6. This chapter will introduce the most common safety measures used in logistics facilities when handling materials.
CHAPTER 8: Quality Control Principles
The purpose of this chapter is to explain the basic quality control principles and systems used in logistics. This chapter will introduce the various methods companies use (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to measure and improve the quality of theirsystems and processes.

The purpose of this chapter is to explain effective communication within the logistics environment. This chapter provides an overview of potential tools used when creating effective communication channels.
