The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) program may fund qualified Active Army, National Guard and Reserve soldiers with up to $2,000 per fiscal year in career educational benefits. The CA program allows soldiers to earn industry-recognized professional and technical credentials.
This program creates new opportunities for soldiers to enhance their skills and professionalism while serving and increasing their overall employability upon transitioning from the Army.

The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) or COOL program may pay for all necessary books, supplies, and associated materials required for an approved training course and/or exam up to $2,000 per fiscal year. Who is Eligible? Eligible soldiers include those who are: Regular Army, Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) Pursuant to TITLE 10 AND TITLE 32, U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), and Army National Guard (ARNG) in an active drilling status with a designation as satisfactory.
